This is the result of a 18 month period of air layering, from autumn 2012 til Spring 2014. Out of 3 branches only 1 developed the adaptation we see below.
A piece of wire was wraped around the stem.
The tree has now been planted in the new final location.
The tips were pruned and its small fruits were removed just after cutting the branch from the mother tree.
